If you are too young to remember COVID, or if, you are plenty old enough, it's just that you weren't paying a lot of attention back then...
We, typically, fell into two categories, coming from two schools of thought on the whole COVID thing.
Now that we have been enlightened a bit more on Fauci the fraud, I think it is fair to say that a brand new category has emerged and come into play!
Initially, I, like most everyone else, paid attention, because there were so many unknowns! I came to believe that the first vaccines off the line needed to go to the immune deficient and the elderly.
If, in fact, the vaccine was effective in saving lives, and if, the sick and elderly chose to take it.
I don't believe it should be forced on anyone!
I was traveling a lot during that time frame, back and forth to my Parents home after my Mom was hospitalized. She didn't have COVID, but it definitely became intertwined with our lives and assisted in sucking the life out of her and nearly out of my Dad.
Another story for another time.
When I was going back and forth, from state to state, town to town, I would see long lines of people waiting to get the vaccine.
Many of these people, were not sick nor elderly, but, nevertheless, were rushing to get to the front of the line!
I believe that many of them went from cautious to scared and anxious, thanks to the 24 hour news cycle!
I never once considered the vaccine; I am not a sickly person and I do not consider myself elderly. I was listening and reading and learning from unsanctioned sources.
It was a no-brainer for me, because, I felt that my situation was, no-need!
There were many in this same category, who were told they would lose their jobs if they didn't get the jab!
What was considered:
A large number of people losing control very quickly, and handing over control, along with their precious God-given Rights, even quicker!
The controlling-types in power, taking full advantage of what they saw as, the easily controlled!
Those in my category becoming the hated, the reviled, the dirty and unclean!
Individuals who wouldn't consider themselves pushovers, just followers of the rules, guidelines, suggestions, etc., primed for the mandates, dictates & decrees which were to come.
Those forced to take a vaccine that they did not trust and did not want and those who challenged, resisted, and fought with every fiber of their being... only to be fired in the end!
The controlling-types, whether on the federal, state or local level... had the folks right where they wanted them.....
In all fairness, we were told by our Government, and "representation" - that we would be keeping ourselves, our loved ones, our neighbors, our fellow travelers, etc. all safe, during the duration of the pandemic, if we took the vaccine...
Many trusted their Government and its representation with each new mandate to take the booster, to keep wearing the mask (better yet, to wear two) to earn a COVID i.d. card,
to place life on a permanent hold...
Don't buck, don't question authority, don't pushback, or else...
The government let them down!
They trusted government's representation and were, repeatedly, lied to!
This is where the third school of thought comes in; the disillusioned!
Those citizens who followed all of the rules and did all of the things; whatever was mandated... they complied.....
Those living under the thumb of power-trippers, had no apparent hope in sight of ever getting back to anything close to normal, not in their routines and not in their lives.
If, their pathetic so-called leaders spoke of normalcy at all, their words were designed to discourage, not encourage; with statements such as, "the new normal" and "permanent precautions to remain in place"!
As these forsaken communities began to get antsy about getting back to work, back to church, back to the gym...
their kids back to school... and back to some semblance of their prior life... their so-called leaders, repeatedly, said "no"!
They kept kicking the can (along with hope and morale) a lot further on down the road!
I cannot speak for these individuals, I live in what has come to be known as, "The Free State of Florida", but I would imagine that whether it was the fear, anxiety and caution crowd or the Rules-following crowd... it turned into pent-up anger, for the majority!
As most states, cities, towns, began the return to normalcy, these good people were left behind!
They were not only left behind, there were no plans in place for them to even begin a transition back to normalcy!
Their power-tripping, thumb pressing, so-called leaders... kept them locked down, dragging their feet, holding them back, handing out fines and making life unbearable, if they dared push back!
These same people in charge, who played games and experimented with
people's lives and livelihoods, well before any pandemic came along, couldn't help themselves!
Holding their constituents back, wearing them down and into submission is the goal!
These particular, elected officials in these particular cities and states, Democrat Blue, saw COVID, and the aftermath, as opportunity to keep their constituents, right where they want and need them to be... under their thumb!
God forbid we are ever faced with another pandemic - but if so, I hope and pray that Americans learned from this one!
