A Dangerous Precedent Has Been Set: By Making Certain Subjects Socially Taboo, Social Media Has Created Monsters

Most people don't want to talk about it, whatever "it" happens to be!
They just want to do their thing, in their space, and be left alone.
The problem with that... eventually, it {whatever it is} catches up, and invades all of the "space". In the worst cases, it destroys! At a minimum, it infects the space around us, whether we like it or not, whether we wanted it to or not.
Social Media has filled the vacuum that keeping "it" taboo, created, and not in a good way!
I've made a habit of talking about it ever since the day that I had a mid-life epiphany!
When I was new to social media, connecting with family and friends and reconnecting with old friends, classmates, neighbors, etc., navigating the new ways of communication, I received a Pledge to sign.
No biggie, I've signed pledges before, after thoroughly reviewing the content, the objective, the reasoning behind it....
But this particular pledge was like none other I had ever seen!
Barack Obama was running for President, and some people were losing their ever loving minds over him!
The wording in this particular pledge was asking us to, "Pledge to Serve Barack Obama".
I was shocked!
I was angry!
I was offended!
I was saddened by the many signatures, before my eyes!
My emotions ran the gamut, no doubt about it.
Also, there was no doubt about it... I would not be signing any such thing, and expressed my reasons as to why!
Quicker than you can say, say what?
I was disconnected by way of unfriending!
Good ole Social Media....
Unfriended from new friends, old friends, and forever shunned by many former classmates!
I seemed to be standing alone, in an alternate universe, explaining that I, that we, Serve God, and that the President of the United States of America, serves us - as in, We the People!
Every person elected to office, serves at the discretion of the people; by way of representation.
This is our form of Government here in the United States; we live in a Republic!
When we are pledging our allegiance, our Republic, is included in that pledge, that promise!
I never set out to be political on social media!
I never had any intentions or thoughts, whatsoever, of expressing my opinions on taboo subjects, that we just don't talk about.....
However, after that day, and after taking a stand for what I felt was right, although I felt so alone, at that time and in that moment, I talk about now! All of it.
Are there citizens of the United States who actually believe that we Serve the President, as we would serve a King?
Have American students been graduating high school under this assumption, and for how long?
Do they not know that George Washington nixed that idea long, long ago?
Have they even heard of/or about George Washington? It needs to be asked, apparently!
What damage has been done by us not talking about Politics?
Am I getting too far ahead of myself with the assumption that we serve God? The U.S.A. was founded as a Christian Nation. If you heard differently, you heard wrong. The Holy Bible influenced the Mayflower Compact, which influenced the Declaration of Independence. Our framework consists of Godly principles. Government which is "based on the consent of the governed", affords us a huge responsibility! One in which we are currently failing! Every time we elect a socialist, we are failing the earliest settlers and our Founding Fathers, and most definitely... our children and grandchildren!
Such calamity unfolding because we didn't continue to talk about the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, and the one way to heaven!
In 1973 it was sold to us girls,in Junior High School (middle school) as a rare and last resort. A way out for young girls who became pregnant, when no other way could be found...
It quickly morphed into a form of birth control, before I even finished Junior High!
I knew of many girls who were having multiple relationships, and multiple abortions. Abortion has been ending lives, while screwing up lives, for a long time now!
Nowadays... it's all about a woman and her rights {well, here in the 2020's, that can get tricky} but, often times, the Father is left out, and the innocent baby is always left out of every equation, every time!
The innocent baby doesn't stand a chance with today's thinking; up until birth/full term, because you feel like it, because you have anxiety, because you are in therapy; you're not mature enough, not old enough, not ready... to be a Mommy! But ready for sex, really?
Any form of taking a life in the womb, can be justified these days and it sickens me!
What a monster we have created by not talking about abortion!
I have no problem whatsoever expressing my views on abortion!
As well as my Christian beliefs, politics, love of country, the nuclear family, feminism, patriotism, and all the other "isms"!
Nothing is off limits!
That day and that Pledge, didn't just jar me, it opened my eyes to a very serious problem - we should have been discussing taboo subjects all along!
Because we didn't, nearly one dozen states are allowing for abortion up until the time of birth, and we aren't supposed to push back because it's none of our business!
When babies are being murdered, we better make it our business, otherwise, they'll be murdered after birth, and people will twist themselves into pretzels... in order to defend the killer, and they'll attempt to "justify it" any which way they can!
Whatever it takes!
Because we didn't, confused biological males decided that they'd be better as women!
And just like that, because they felt like it, because no one attempted to stop them... they began to compete against women (aka: biological females) in sports.
You aren't supposed to object or talk about it.
Shame on you if you do!
You'll be called out, you'll become the problem, you'll become the story...
Congratulations, you are now ostracized; you are now a pariah!
No concerns, whatsoever, for the biological female athletes pushed aside - in order to make way and accommodate, confused biological males! It's infuriating!
Feminists won't even stand up for women!
How's that for irony in the world of, anything goes, in the world of the unnatural?
Let's spend a little time here on the subject of Feminism, shall we?
Feminists have always been on the wrong side of history!
They've always been proponents of abortion on demand, as in for any reason, and at any time!
They are proponents of confused biological males; they have not sided with biological females in this! They do not support biological females, although they have been directly impacted by this! They offer them zero support, whether it's in the locker room, the bathroom or on the floor, or field, of Sport!
Present day, they are proponents of Mothers who kill their children... outside of the womb, forgetting the true victims, demanding forgiveness for Mom, as they turn her into the victim. The true victims, the innocent children, remain nameless, faceless and irrelevant... just as they see them in the womb.
Feminists do not speak for me!
They have never spoken for me, and I suspect, they never will!
They are, in my opinion, a big part of what's wrong with America present day!
Moving on.....
Because we didn't talk about it, anti-American individuals became College Professors, and because of the stigma that every individual should attend college (or they'll be ostracized in society) we have young anti-American graduates! Demanding change, via socialism/communism; the very opposite of that which we were founded on.
They have no idea whatsoever what it is they are wishing for! If they do have some knowledge, they insist that there will be a different outcome here!
But, whichever the case, they are getting what they're asking for, in many districts and cities, within the United States of America.
Because we didn't talk about it, these same misguided young graduates have joined forces with illegal criminals.! They stand together against Law Enforcement! As ICE seeks to rid this Country of the worst of these criminal offenders, it's often with one hand tied behind their backs! Because ignorant, emotions-based Americans are aggressively up in their faces, handicapping them, repeatedly!
Illegals who have been given every opportunity to do things right, make things right, choose not to. They choose to live outside of, or above the law, and why not when they are given sanctuary throughout the land! A slap on the hand for each and every crime until the day when they take a life.....
There's actually a group which has formed in the U.S. It's called 'Angel Families', and it's made up of Parents/Spouses/Siblings, whom have lost loved ones to criminal illegals! Many in a very heinous manner. Their numbers grow with each new day - There shouldn't be any such group!
Although, common sense finally prevailed, and the stupid policy of open borders. finally closed them; we have no idea how many of this type of criminal illegal has crossed over and are living among us!
We better start talking about it, if we want our children and grandchildren to stand a chance!
I don't want to ever have to tell my grandchildren about the freedom and independence we once enjoyed here, but elected to give it up for total dependency on the Government or worse if the Socialists prevail!
I don't want to tell them, that as a result, we were made less safe, because overextended Government cannot possibly defend our borders adequately; not to mention the neighborhoods, streets, cities, towns that they'll not be able to access, because policing will have been outlawed!
I dread attempting to explain how their fellow Americans didn't want to be seen as exclusive {or labeled with any of the "isms"] and so, with wide open arms., they welcomed and accepted haters of America, into America!
I don't want to ever have to explain to my grandchildren that there weren't enough American citizens fighting for them... because they really just wanted to be left alone!
Dear Heavenly Father, please watch over this land.
Please give us the courage to take a stand for this Nation, and to take a stand for our children and our grandchildren. Amen.
We truly are their last line of defense!
If we aren't in their ears, talking to them, teaching them, explaining anything and everything to them..... someone else will be!
If we aren't listening to them... someone else will be!
Social media, definitely, will be!
Then, we'll only be fighting losing battles with them, possibly, losing them in the mayhem and madness!
