This amazing, resilient, Nation bounced back as we do & have always done. With spirited resolution, an unwavering faith, and courage in the face of adversity!

We vowed to:

"Never forget"

Never forget what was done to us; the citizens of this Nation, visitors (our guests) to this Nation... the day we all became human targets of hate!

While many were lost to us forever, in an instant - others survived, only to lose their individual battles over time, in the aftermath.

Whether caused by exposure to the many toxins in the air...

A mental or emotional toll which could not be overcome...

Injuries sustained, which never completely healed...

Whatever the case, their fight came to an end, post September 11, 2001.

But each one, every bit as much a victim as those who died in an

instant!

Images forever etched in our minds, of people jumping from the specifically targeted tall buildings.

Images of people running for their lives, as large, looming, black clouds of smoke eerily encroached on them, as if seeking to devour them!

Images of heroes, rushing in, without a moment's hesitation, straight into the belly of the beast!

Many of us sensing in those captured moments, their very last deeds on earth, would be selfless acts of bravery!

We turned to loved ones for solace and for a reassurance that we were going to be okay.

This isn't how we would go out - we would fight back!

This would not be the end.

Not of us; not of these United States of America!

We vowed to:

"Never forget"

There was a monumental turning back to God, and it spread throughout this land with a mighty and healing force!

While we were connecting and reconnecting, loving and supporting, doing for one another, we were exposed to horrendous images as they were played and replayed on our television screens and radio waves...

throughout the coming days, weeks, months...

A world full of people, some for the very first time in their lives, clearly understood what pure evil looks like, and what pure evil is capable of!

We vowed to never forget all of those innocent lives which were taken on that fateful, solemn, horrendous day! So violently, so tragically, so unnecessarily, by the most vile, wicked, despicable individuals that earth has to offer.

We helplessly watched as search teams with dogs went from search and rescue --- to recovery of bodies!

Have we forgotten... up until we hear their names read every year on the eleventh day of the ninth month by loved ones?

The doers of evil never tire!

While we must never forget nor lose sight of what evil is capable of - it is imperative that this Nation never lose sight of God!

It would be so much easier for us, to put it out of our minds and pretend that we we have been gifted an untarnished clean slate.

A rewind.

A do-over.

It never happened...

But it did happen!

What we have been left with, because of that fateful day, is uncertainty!

Proactive vigilance is key!

We understood that, for a time!

But, I am afraid, with time, too many have forgotten!

Others have never been properly educated on the subject, not with any urgency!

Blissful ignorance jeopardizes us all!

  • We must continually protect our Homeland via secure borders; whatever that entails

  • We must continually build up our military assets

  • We must elect to Office, individuals who have our safety and our best interest at heart, first, foremost, and above all else

  • We must stay on our toes and not aloof in lala land

  • We adhere strictly to our immigration laws, never again allowing them to be made a mockery of

We can no longer fall for manufactured chaos; wherein Citizens are intentionally pitted against one another; intentionally, distracted!

That "little voice", those "gut feelings", exist as defense mechanisms.

We no longer have the luxury of ignoring them; the evil doers saw to that!

All at the same time, life goes on --- we cannot allow for evil to take any more from us, than it already has!

We must never forget that while evil exists and abounds...

God is ever present and that solace is found… in that truth!

May God Bless and Keep our Beloved Homeland!
