Going Forward Will We Embrace Americana a Little Tighter or Will We Adopt Socialism?

Americana, an American way of life vs. Socialism, it has come down to this in the year of our Lord Twenty and Twenty Six.

Many U.S. citizens have been given the choice, or will have this choice to make in the near future.

New York City elected a Socialist Mayor who promised free groceries and to stick it to the rich and successful.

How could they say "no" to that?

Minneapolis is eyeing a Socialist with the same ideas as the elected New York Mayor!

So are L.A. and Washington D.C., and many more.....

Socialists have been elected on the local level, from California to Georgia.

Yes, with the same ideas/philosophy, as New York's Mayor!

Their philosophy is fairly limited, you understand?

Unlike our Government would be with it!

Isn't that the plan, the strategy, the attitude, though?

Stick it to those working toward their American Dream[the true dreamers]while coddling and giving free stuff to those who prefer complaining to dreaming.

Add in the fact that with each handout, with each coddle session, freedom becomes more scarce...

When one gives up self-sufficiency in order to be taken care of, they become beholden to their caretaker.

In this case [Socialism] wherein the U.S. Federal Government takes on the role as provider and caretaker.

It was never meant to be this way!

Our Government is designed to be limited, with emphasis on protecting and defending the Homeland!

The Government... our form of Government... was never intended to be a nurse maid!

As always, I welcome anyone who wishes to challenge me on this.

The last time we saw Socialism rear its ugly head was back during Donald Trump's first term.

An undercover video of Bernie Sanders' team was released and it was eye-opening and explosive!

While a team-member in the camp of Socialist Bernie Sanders was recorded talking about creating destruction, mayhem, and "gulags", yes, gulags, in the United States of America...

America-loving Donald Trump was in Daytona Beach FL USA!

"Gentlemen start your engines", was his call, in the midst of Patriotism at its finest, at the most Americana race of all, the Daytona 500, dubbed, "The Great American Race!

While the President and First Lady were doing a lap around the world-famous track, while American fighter jets were flying over before the start of the Great American race, the Sanders team was racing to the microphones to disavow the disastrous leaked video.

In the video, the Sanders staffer becomes unhinged when asked about MAGA; comparing Trump supporters to Nazis.

This has always been so ironic to me. The definition of Nazi is, "a member of the socialist party of Germany 1922-1945", but they continue to stick with it.

I am not sure what became of the hot head in the leaked video, but he should have served time as a Traitor to this Country. I lost touch of him, and this story!

I guess enough time has passed and we are supposed to forget all about that fiasco... because Bernie Sanders is back in the spotlight again, endorsing Socialists, socialist agendas and bad-mouthing our Country and our way of life, once again.

Because it is what he does best!

When one embraces Socialism, they are embracing an economic system in which the

Government takes ownership of the production and distribution of goods.

Our current economic system of Capitalism, wherein entrepreneurs, small businesses, large box stores, online companies, etc. compete for the consumer's business... would be forever lost!

If enough voters choose to go the way of socialism.

When one embraces socialism, they are stepping back, pulling themselves out of decision-making and trusting Government to, basically, control all aspects of their lives.

I should say - all aspects of our lives!

I want no part of it, nor in it, but I would have to live with it, by default!

Because we will all, eventually, be equal, in our suffering.

In the aforementioned circulating undercover video, the socialism-loving staffer speaks of having gulags in order to re-educate and reform people who think like me!

The people he refers to as Nazis!

Again I ask - isn't it ironic - don't you think?

This goes against everything that the United States has stood for... for nearly 250 years now!

It goes against everything that initially won us a Republic!

A Republic which Benjamin Franklin feared we might not be able to keep.

I sure as heck do not want to prove him correct!

We support and choose individuals like Donald Trump, because they want no part of Socialism either!

Yes, they repeatedly tell us... but more importantly, they show us.

Donald Trump has shown us in spades!

Those of us not wanting any part of a powerful, unstoppable, freedom-ending, liberty-robbing Government, must get louder!

Many of our youth are smitten with the idea. But I've seen the silver-haired, those who should know better, ready to surrender and yield, as well.

I have barely touched on the part about the money eventually drying up, and, then what...

When the rich and successful, those who will sustain us through the Socialist years, run out of money, then what?

When we have lost all competition and our many choices are reduced to zero choices...

When all of the bright minds, entrepreneurs and savvy business men and women are no longer needed to move and shake, due to stagnation, then what?

Please don't tell me that I am wasting my time, because it can never happen here.

It's appealing and intriguing to many folks right now, they are caught up in the moment, unable or unwilling to see past -- the glitter!

Tell me again how it can never happen here?
